ADWTI COMMUNITY CARE
ADWTI’s Developmental Goal is not a trickle down approach from the top but it is a Grassroot Movement by the grassroot people. From the very inception ADWTI trained the community people in leadership, Community care and through several seminar, modular trainings and conferences to equip, empower and sustain the community.
ADWTI community meet the people, live with them, work with them, start with what they have and what they know, plan and develop together with co-operation. This participation evokes involvement of the community in the decision making process of implementation of developmental work. ADWTI community is no judge or critique to any approach that is concern with development. ADWTI s effort is in bottom-up planning. We believe in people centred development. We engage ourselves to involve the community in decision making about the implementation of process, programs and projects that affect them.
ADWTI organise Marriage Seminar where participants from PrbaMedinipur districts of West Bengal attended the seminar. The present day scenario is not at all inspiring. Due to the change in the socio-economic conditions in the society the smallest unit is succumbing to pressure from all sides. Domestic violence are increasing, the gap between husband-wife, parents-child are widening. Alcoholism, reluctant to look after once own family, abandonment, divorce are creating havoc in the community. Thus ADWTI conduct Marriage and Parenting Seminar from time to time where all the participants acknowledged that they are immensely blessed by the teachings, activities, group discussion and dialogue, encouraging each other through life testimonies.
